help barack in kentucky

Dear Matt,

KY Precinct Conventions One of our best chances to make a difference for Barack in Kentucky is just two days away.

This Saturday, April 5th at 10:00 a.m., Democrats across the Commonwealth will gather at Precinct Conventions.

These conventions are a major step in the process that will assign Kentucky's delegates to the Democratic National Convention, and it's crucial that Obama supporters in every precinct attend.

Let us know you'll be attending your Precinct Convention this Saturday -- a local Obama organizer will be in touch to help make sure you are ready for Convention Day:

The Precinct Convention process is easy and fun -- here's all you need to do:

  1. Be at your general election polling location this Saturday, April 5th at 10:00 a.m. to participate in your Precinct Convention. If you don't know your polling location, you can look it up here.
  2. Stand together with other Barack supporters. You can even wear an Obama pin or sticker so you'll be easier to identify.
  3. Elect precinct leaders who support Barack. These leaders will serve as delegates to the County and Legislative District Conventions in the coming weeks and will help secure as many national delegates as possible for Barack.

This race is still very close, and after more than 40 contests, one thing is certain -- every state, every vote, and every delegate counts.

This Saturday's Precinct Conventions are an amazing chance to build on our momentum in Kentucky -- and help secure additional delegates for Barack.
